During the last ten years of digital printing, R.A. Irwin has established a clear understanding of the growing demand for fast, adaptable and customisable fabrics. With their finger firmly on the pulse, the company is paving the way to proactively respond to market trends and deliver an innovative service to customers.

“Embracing new technology presents a world of opportunities for us,” says Managing Director, Richard Irwin.

“We have started the process of managing a phased wind-down of our weaving plant, having made the strategic decision to switch off the looms and cease weaving in early 2020. The company focus is now firmly placed on digital printing. An ever increasing demand from buyers for digitally printed fabrics has been a driving force in reshaping the business. 

Our in-house design studio is a hub of creativity. The specialist textile designers employ their skills and industry awareness in creating designs, which respond swiftly to changing customer demands. This gives us full control, putting us in the driving seat and cements our reputation for unsurpassed quality, innovation and service.

The upcoming launch of our new R.A. Irwin mobile app will provide customers with information at their fingertips and optimise service delivery. This digital integration will also make internal operations more streamlined.
